Google RCS Verify API - Get Started
Welcome to the Dexatel Google RCS Verify API documentation. This guide walks you through the steps to begin using Dexatel's RCS (Rich Communication Services) Verify API, allowing you to send verification codes via modern, feature-rich RCS messages. Google RCS enhances the messaging experience with branding, media, and interactivity — ideal for secure and engaging user verification.
Step 1 - Account Registration
To begin using the Telegram Verify API, you'll need a Dexatel account. Here's how to register:
- Visit Dexatel.com and click on the "Start for Free" button.
- Complete the registration form with your basic information, including your name, business email, and company details.
- Verify your email address by clicking the confirmation link sent to your inbox, and complete your free trial account setup.
- Log in to your Dexatel dashboard to access your account and available services.
Step 2 - Generating API Key
An API key is required to authenticate your Dexatel SMS Verify API requests. To generate an API key:
- Log in to your Dexatel dashboard.
- Navigate to the "APIs" section in the navigation menu on the left-hand side.
- Click on the "Create a Key" button. You may be prompted to enter a name or description for the key, which will help it be easily identified.
Once created, copy and securely store your API key. You will need this key to make API requests.
Step 3 – Register Google RCS Agent (Sender)
Before you can send verification messages via RCS, you must register a Google RCS agent (also referred to as a Sender). Please note that:
- The RCS Sender registration process is not publicly available and requires assistance from a Dexatel representative.
- To begin the registration process, please contact your Dexatel account manager or support team.
- A Dexatel representative will guide you through the entire process, gather the required business and brand information, and coordinate directly with Google to complete the registration.
This registration process includes agent branding, verification, and approval steps, and may take some time depending on Google’s review cycles.
Once your Google RCS Sender is registered and your API key is active, you’ll be ready to start verifying users through rich, branded RCS messages. If you have any questions or need support at any stage of the process, our team is here to help.
