Telegram Verify API - Get Started
Welcome to the Dexatel Telegram Verify API documentation. This guide will help you get started with sending one-time verification codes via Telegram using Dexatel’s easy-to-integrate API. With our streamlined setup and pre-approved sender ID, you can quickly and securely start verifying users on Telegram.
Step 1 - Account Registration
To begin using the Telegram Verify API, you'll need a Dexatel account. Here's how to register:
- Visit Dexatel.com and click on the "Start for Free" button.
- Complete the registration form with your basic information, including your name, business email, and company details.
- Verify your email address by clicking the confirmation link sent to your inbox, and complete your free trial account setup.
- Log in to your Dexatel dashboard to access your account and available services.
Step 2 – Generating API Key
To interact with Dexatel’s APIs, you need an API key. Here’s how to generate one:
- From your Dexatel dashboard, navigate to the "API Keys" section under the APIs section.
- Click "Create a Key" and give it a recognizable name (e.g., “Telegram Verify Integration”).
- Copy and securely store the generated key — you'll need it to authenticate your API requests.
No Sender ID Setup Required
Dexatel’s Telegram Verify API uses a pre-approved generic Telegram sender ID called "Verification Codes". This means:
- By default, you don’t need to register a custom Telegram sender.
- Once your account is active and you have your API key, you can start sending verification messages immediately via Telegram.
This simplifies the process, saving you time and reducing setup friction.
You're now ready to use the Telegram Verify API to authenticate your users via Telegram securely.
