Welcome to the Dexatel Templates documentation. This guide is designed to help you quickly set up and start using messaging templates across various channels, including SMS, Viber, and WhatsApp. Follow these steps to create templates that will streamline your communication process.

Account Registration

Before creating and using templates, you need to have a Dexatel account. Here's how to register:

  1. Visit Dexatel.com and click on the "Start for Free" button.
  2. Fill out the registration form with your personal and business details.
  3. Verify your email address by clicking on the link sent to your inbox.
  4. Log in to your Dexatel account to access the dashboard and create templates.

Different Types of Messaging Templates

Dexatel supports the creation of templates for various messaging channels, each with its unique features:

SMS Templates: Ideal for sending text messages with predefined content to save time and ensure consistency.
Viber Templates: Allow for more rich content, including images, videos, and call-to-action buttons, providing a more engaging experience.
WhatsApp Templates: Used for WhatsApp Business messaging, these templates must be approved by Meta and can include text, images, and interactive elements.

Creating SMS Templates

To create an SMS template:

  1. Navigate to the Message Library in your Dexatel dashboard.
  2. Click the "Create Template" button and select SMS from the channel options.
  3. Fill in the template name and message content. Be concise and clear.
  4. Click "Create" to save your template for future use.

Creating WhatsApp Templates

To create a WhatsApp template:

  1. Navigate to the WhatsApp section in the left menu of your Dexatel dashboard.
  2. Click on "WhatsApp Templates" and then the "Create Template" button.
  3. Fill in all the required details, including the template name, message content, and category. It's crucial to choose the appropriate category for your template.
  4. Submit your template for review. Remember, all WhatsApp templates must be reviewed and approved by Meta, which can take up to 24 hours.

Creating Viber Templates

To create a Viber template:

  1. Go to the Message Library in your Dexatel dashboard.
  2. Click the "Create Template" button and choose Viber from the channel options.
  3. Provide a template name and craft your message content. Viber templates include media files and a call-to-action button, offering a rich messaging experience.
  4. Click "Create" to save your Viber template.
